2023-2024 Rates and Ages
- Mile High Mites Learn To Skate - $250
9U - born 2014 or later.
- Mites - $200
8U - born 2015 or later.
- Squirts - $495
10U - born 2014 or 2013
- PeeWees - $495
12U - born 2012 or 2011
- Bantam/Midget - $870
18U- born 2010-2005
When
Avalanche Learn To Skate begins Nov 28th and runs through Dec 14th
Mites will start January 9th and run through March 28th
Squirts, Peewees, Bantams, and Midgets - Season begins with practice starting October 24th and runs through March 28th
USA Hockey
All players and coaches must be registered with USA Hockey for the 2023-24 season before beginning the CYHA registration process. To join or renew your membership, please visit USA Hockey using the button below.
Extra Costs
As an association we value your time and have chosen to provide you with this state of the art website that has quickly taken over the organized sports industry. It is ever evolving to help families and staff stay connected via the crossbar app! There is a fee associated with this new website that is added to your total at time of checkout. This nominal fee provides us the capabilities to offer a centralized communication app for all teams and their coaches. Through the app you also have a calendar that will notify you of any upcoming events/practices/tournaments that are specific to your player. Please make sure to download the CROSSBAR app through the app store for either android or iphone.
Travel is not included and not required. Hockey families tend to lend help in getting as many kids to games that are away. Some hotel arrangements will have to be made for tournaments in other cities.
Where
Practices and home games are held at Loudy Simpson Ice Arena. Games are played across Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah.
Practices
Teams practice 2-3 times per week.
Games
Teams will play 10-20 games over the course of the season and will usually fall on the weekends.
Jerseys
Club jerseys are supplied but personalized jerseys can be purchased.

Volunteers
We need as much volunteer help as we can get and there are many ways you can be of assistance. We require volunteer help at CYHA events and fundraisers, as well as home tournaments and league weekends. Time clock and stats keeping are other ways to help. If you have other skills that may be helpful to the organization, we are always looking for new and creative ways to involve our membership. These may include but are not limited to: Fundraising, event planning, culinary, executive coaching, leadership, management training, organization development, video, photography, graphic design. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any ideas or suggestions on how you may be able to assist the organization.
